Halloween was fun this year. I tried on a couple costumes on Taevin to see which one he liked. As you can see, he didn't like the dressing up idea.
Taryn has asked the last two years to be a Japanese girl, but it just didn't work out. I saw this costume at TJMax for $20.00 when I was in St. George, so I snagged it then. She was tickled pink.
Ty was stoked to be Darth Vador. We have like five light sabers, but he insisted I had to buy one with a red stick, because that was the color Vador's was. He got his wish.
Before trick-or-treating, we went to the neighborhood cookout. Here are some of the adorable kids that were there.

Now here is the best costume of the year: Newel Slade actually shaved his head to look like an old geazer. Priceless.

Nicolas wanted the "red" light saber as well..but I told him no way, we have like 5 at home. I secretly bought it for him and surprised him on Halloween night. I love how easy it is to make kids so dang happy:) Glad Ty got a red one as well. Just wouldn't be right for Darth Vador to have any other color!
