Thursday at Superhero Training Camp 2009

My friend and stake young womens' president, Kim, designed this logo for camp. Isn't it amazing? I forgot to post this picture below when Em and I were making our necklaces together.

Thursday we woke up first thing and went on our hike. The weather was beautiful. It was sprinkling (which kind of messed up being able to take our scriptures on the hike, but it worked out anyway) and it was overcast. It was so great to not be so hot during the hike. In twelve years at Camp Lomia I don't think I have ever had such wonderful weather.

We leaders tried to take a fun picture like the girls. It didn't turn out so good. My double chins kind of ruined the experience.

After the hike, we came back to the bunk and the girls had to cook their own lunch for certification. They loved it.

They even made their own ice cream in a bag.

After lunch, it was time for certification and crafts. We made necklace for

Elicia got a little cat nap during craft time. :-)

I think CampLomia is so beautiful.
