This Is For Real Folks

For me, my pregnancies never seem "real" until the first sonogram. All of a sudden, I can see this moving, breathing, living, sweet baby inside of me and I realize, I am going through all this crap for a reason! I had my first ultrasound yesterday and it was so fun to see the baby. They needed to see how far along I really was but it was too early so tell the sex of the baby. I was pretty close to how far along I thought I was. The ultrasound had me a few days further, but she told me the Doctor will probably just stick to my original date since the sonogram is plus or minus eight days. I am so thankful for the opportunity I have of being a mother. I do not enjoy pregnancy, but seeing that sweet little thing inside me kicking and moving.....it makes all this suffering worth it in the end.

It's a Christmas Miracle!

It was by a shear Christmas miracle that our Christmas stuff got put up this year. I dreaded it up until the day we had planned to do it. With a lot of help from Danjee and in between barf sessions, we got all of our "crap" up. Christmas may actually happen this year. I am truly grateful.

It was a great Thanksgiving. Although by about six o'clock, I was laying on the couch wishing I could die from my pregnancy sickness, it still was awesome to see my family and spend time together. Our family truly has been blessed this year and we are so grateful for all the blessings that we enjoy.

Taryn's Orchestra Concert

Taryn had her first orchestra concert last week. It was so fun to go and support her in that. She did so well and I thought she looked adorable.
Here is the supportive brother:

Promoting Sibling Affection???

I had to leave somewhere on Saturday and Danjee said he would like to spend quality time with his kids. I came back and Danj had gone and borrowed some boxing gloves from the Millers and this is what he had been doing with my kids while I was gone:

Yes, the Rumors are True

We are expecting baby number four. We were keeping it a secret from Danjee's family so I didn't dare post anything on my blog. Unfortunately, Danjee spilled the beans to his mom a couple of days ago so no more Christmas surprise. I am almost eleven weeks along and extremely sick, but grateful this is a good pregnancy. Hopefully all will go well throughout the remaining six months. I do not care one way or the other if it is a girl or a boy. I just want a healthy baby, and to be done with the pregnancy. :-) If my postings are scarce it's because I am laying on my couch wishing that I could die and throwing up in between that.

Right of Passage?

Photobucket

So, we have had our Expedition since 2004 and we passed the 100,000 mile mark. Isn't this some kind of milestone that brings some sort of "right of passage?" Like the right of way while driving, more respect from our peers, a more dignified reputation, etc.? I'm just sayin.
